Today, the BCCI is poised to disclose the initial 15 matches of IPL 2024, marking the commencement of what promises to be a spectacular season.

While not all fixtures may be revealed today, the imminent release signals that Indian cricket's premier T20 carnival is just around the corner. It feels like only yesterday when Ravindra Jadeja's boundary secured Chennai Super Kings their fifth IPL title, yet it's been a significant eight months since that historic night in Ahmedabad.

The BCCI has unveiled the schedule for matches 1 to 21 of the IPL due to the overlap between IPL dates and election dates in India. This isn't the first instance of such overlap; back in 2009, the IPL season coincided with election dates in India as well.

Opener match of IPL 2024

CSK vs RCB blockbuster will kick start IPL 2024 on March 22 in Chennai. BCCI has released the IPL schedule for first 21 matches or 17 days on Thursday. During the first phae, there will be three double-headers. Matches will begin at 3:30 PM and 7:30 PM.
